It was another fabulous day today and we were even excited to have a little sunshine peek in our windows! We had the best time working on our writing in Writer’s Workshop today. Your kids are the best at helping each other add more details to their writing! After math we had Eng. Tech, Social Studies, Engage, and more time to work on our research projects. They are going so well and almost done!!!!

IT IS IMPORTANT FOR YOUR CHILD TO BRING SHARPENED PENCILS TO SCHOOL EACH DAY! PLEASE PROVIDE YOUR CHILD WITH A PERSONAL PENCIL SHARPENER TO KEEP IN HIS/HER BINDER!!!

It is so important that your child complete his/her reading homework each night! It is the number one way for your child to improve! Please have your child take some time to read out loud to you. They also love hearing you read and you are a great model for them!
3rd Grade Reading: 20 minutes
4th Grade Reading: 30 minutes

3rd Grade Math: HL 4.4 and IXL F3 and F4 for 20 minutes. IXL records the amount of time you worked one each skill. Make sure you work for at least 20 minutes.

4th Grade Math: JP 93-93 SL 4.7. We have four online tests due tomorrow. They were assigned on Monday. The codes are JZQB4352, ZZPR2058, RQYT4194, and VPKM6809.

Language Arts: Our Autobiography Paragraph Practice assignments were due yesterday! Our next one will come out by Friday!

Cursive: We are working hard in class!

Spelling: Our first spelling assignment of the year was due yesterday and we took our first spelling test! Your child printed it out and is bringing it home to show you! Our new spelling assignment will come home tomorrow!

Social Studies: Right now our focus is on the world, continent, country, state, and city communities we belong to. Soon we will move our focus to more map skills and the study of our great state of Michigan!

Spanish: Please find your teacher’s link on this blog and check for your assignments!

PLEASE ENCOURAGE YOUR CHILD TO USE THE YELLOW CHECKLIST IN HIS/HER BINDER!

PLEASE SEND YOUR CHILD WITH A WATER BOTTLE!!! This helps a lot, so he/she does not have to leave the room when thirsty! Your child is also welcome to keep healthy snacks in our classroom to eat any time!
