It was a bright and sunny day today inside our classroom! We are currently reading a novel as a class and just loving it! The kids are doing the best job as usual! After reading, we had math , Engineering Tech, Social Studies, Engage, and more work on our Science research project. We are almost done with our project and so excited to share them with you!

Tomorrow is a late-start day. The kids will arrive at 9:50am and the teachers will arrive at 7:30am for some professional development! Unfortunately the district has also scheudled more professional development for us in the afternoon so we will have a guest teacher for the second half of the day. I will then be so excited to come back on Friday for our field trip!

For Friday's field trip, please pack your child a snack as well as a bag lunch. We will have a snack on the bus on the way there and eat our lunches on the bus on the way back. We leave at 9:00am and will return by 1:30pm. Third and fourth graders will have math after the trip and both have tests on Friday!

Parents, please check your child's Blue Take Home Folder each day to check for mail, homework, and important information.

IT IS IMPORTANT FOR YOUR CHILD TO BRING SHARPENED PENCILS TO SCHOOL EACH DAY! PLEASE PROVIDE YOUR CHILD WITH A PERSONAL PENCIL SHARPENER TO KEEP IN HIS/HER BINDER!!!

It is so important that your child complete his/her reading homework each night! It is the number one way for your child to improve! Please have your child take some time to read out loud to you. They also love hearing you read and you are a great model for them!

3rd Grade Math: In class today we complete the experiment and compiled the class results (JP 98). We also spent time reviewing for our unit 4 assessment on Friday.

4th Grade Math: Review due tomorrow! Our Unit 4 test will be Friday after the field trip. There will be a multiplication fact test as well as a division fact test along with the unit test. We have 15 minutes of IXL time as well as four online tests due Friday. The codes are QMAH0854, BDHU7727, LQWW1667, and OZLO5741.

Language Arts: Our “Thanksgiving” paragraph practice is due on Tuesday, January 3rd!

Cursive: We are working hard in class!

Spelling: Our next spelling lists are due on Thursday, December 15th. We will have our spelling test that day as well! We will not receive another spelling list after this test until we get back from break!

Social Studies: We have a quiz on Monday, December 12th. Your child received a study guide to help him/her prepare for this quiz! Please ask your child about this!

Spanish: Please find your teacher’s link on this blog and check for your assignments!

PLEASE ENCOURAGE YOUR CHILD TO USE THE YELLOW CHECKLIST IN HIS/HER BINDER!

PLEASE SEND YOUR CHILD WITH A WATER BOTTLE!!! This helps a lot, so he/she does not have to leave the room when thirsty! Your child is also welcome to keep healthy snacks in our classroom to eat any time!
