Character Connections Word of the week:  COLLABORATION/TEAMWORK
“Teamwork is the ability to work together toward a common vision. It is the fuel that allows common people to attain uncommon results.” – Andrew Carnegie
“I invite everyone to choose forgiveness rather than division, teamwork over personal ambition.” – Jean-Francois Cope
“Individual commitment to a group effort--that is what makes a team work, a company work, a society work, a civilization work.” – Vince Lombardi

Please check your child's Blue Take Home Folder each day to check for mail, homework, and important information.

IT IS IMPORTANT FOR YOUR CHILD TO BRING SHARPENED PENCILS TO SCHOOL EACH DAY!

PLEASE SEND YOUR CHILD WITH A WATER BOTTLE!!! This helps a lot, so he/she does not have to leave the room when thirsty! Your child is also welcome to keep healthy snacks in our classroom to eat any time

Here’s What We Have for You Today:
WE HAVE M-STEP on THURSDAY THE 4TH.  WE ALSO HAVE M-STEP TESTING NEXT WEEK ON THE 8TH.  FOURTH GRADERS HAVE AN EXTRA SECTION OF TESTING ON THE 10TH AND 11TH NEXT WEEK.  There is nothing your child needs to do to prepare, however, there are practice items linked to my blog.  It is always best to get a good night’s rest, eat a good breakfast, and bring interesting books to read for when your child completes a section of the test!

Social Studies:
We have started our study of Economics and the kids are loving it!

Soon we will begin our next exciting science unit on Plants.  This is especially exciting as we will incorporate a lot of the knowledge we have gained from our Tower Garden project!

***Often we post things on our class SeeSaw accounts as well on our Google Classroom accounts.  Ask your child to show you what he/she has done so far!
